ABOUT ME
An old hand with nearly 40 years experience! What started out as a hobby, photography became part of my normal working day with the various companies I have worked for in the Point of Sale and manufacturing industries. Over the years, my photographs have been featured in brochures, exhibitions, magazines, catalogues and now on websites. Copy writing and article authoring have also become part of the processes.

Whilst I still take on commission work, I am now happy to return back to it all being a hobby again. It gives great satisfaction to be able to help and guide those who want to start or expand their portfolios.

From the days of film and spending many hours in a small and stuffy darkroom developing films and prints, equipment is now fully digital, using up to date cameras and editing software.
​
Over the years, one of my specialised subjects has been railway photography. Many photographs can be viewed on my 80's Rail website - just click on the 'Visit Site' button below and enjoy the nostalgia!
PHOTO SHOOTS
Photo shoots are available to dancers, actors, performers and models who wish to create or expand their portfolios. These are available on either a collaboration or commission basis:

Collaboration
​
These shoots are offered on a 'workshop' basis and aspects such as posing, body language, expressions and presentation are all discussed as the session progresses. A typical shoot takes around 5 hours and covers 10 to 12 outfits, using different lighting set ups. This should yield around 20 to 25 fully edited & different photos.

There are no charges for either the shoot or the edited photos. You will incur just your own personal expenses.

Commission
​
I am always happy to consider shoots on a commission basis. Prices can be agreed after a full shoot brief has been discussed and end usage requirements agreed upon.

Location
​
I work from home with a small, basic studio set up, using quality equipment. This allows me to offer shoots on a free of charge basis. It also gives a warm, comfortable and relaxed shoot environment. Outdoor shoots can also be arranged in suitable weather.
​
I am located near to Hinckley and a few minutes from Junction 2 of the M69. Unfortunately, travel by bus is not an option, but arrangements can be made to collect/set back at Hinckley railway station (hourly service from Leicester & Birmingham).
